Add it to your own Outlook

With Personal or any business plan. One connection covers every Outlook you sign in to.

  1. Download the add-in file from your account page.
  2. In Outlook, open Get Add-ins, then My add-ins, and under Custom Addins choose Add a custom add-in, then Add from File.
  3. Open any email and press Check this email. If you signed in to Jatzo with Microsoft it sets itself up; otherwise paste the connection code from your account page once.

Deploy it to your staff

With a business plan and the Exchange Administrator or Global Administrator role. Your staff do nothing.

  1. List and prove your staff domains on your account page.
  2. Create the deployment file from your account page, and keep it safe like a key.
  3. In the Microsoft 365 admin centre, open Integrated apps, choose Deploy Add-in, upload the file and choose who gets it. Microsoft takes 24 to 72 hours to put the button on everybody's ribbon.

Installing it yourself needs a private window signed in to one Google account: with several signed in Google picks one itself and the install fails, saying only that it cannot open the file.     The Dashboard on your own computer

    Your figures and your history in a window rather than a browser. It is the website's own dashboard rather than a second version of it, and it reads those two things and nothing else: checking an email still happens in Outlook or on the website. It keeps the last figures it read, so it opens and says how old they are when Jatzo cannot be reached.

WHAT IT CAN ACCESS

It reads the message you check, and nothing else.

The add-in asks Outlook for one permission: to read the message that is open when you press the button.

    Read the open message

    The only permission the add-in asks for. It cannot reply, forward, move, delete or change anything in your mailbox, and it does not read the rest of your inbox.

    Know who you are

    With Microsoft sign-in, Outlook tells Jatzo which account is using it, so it can set itself up. Nothing beyond who you are.

    Keep findings, not the email

    History keeps the subject, the score and the compact findings. It does not keep the raw email or attachment contents.

Phones check with less evidence

Outlook on a phone does not give add-ins the delivery details, so the sender checks cannot run there. The pane says what it could not check, and the same message checked on a computer can score differently for that reason.

Some attachments may not be sent whole

On a computer the whole message goes. On phones and some older versions of Outlook the add-in cannot always send attachments or very long messages whole, and the result says what was left out.

Older versions of Outlook may ask for a code

Some older versions cannot pass your work account to an add-in. They ask for a connection code instead, which you create on your account page and paste in once.

Deployment takes Microsoft 24 to 72 hours

That is Microsoft's timing for any deployed add-in. The button will not be on the ribbon on the day you deploy, and that is not a failed install.

A shared mailbox counts against that mailbox

A message checked in a shared mailbox is filed against that mailbox rather than against you, and the pane says which inbox the case went to.
